The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, on Saturday, launched India's first ever indigenously developed Train Control & Supervision System. The first deployment of the I-ATS or the Indigenous Automatic Train Supervision will be on Delhi Metro's Red Line -- from Rithala to Shaheed Sthal. This entirely locally-made signalling system has been jointly developed by DMRC and Bharat Electronics Limited under the "Aatmanirbhar Bharat" initiatives for the Metro Rail Transit Systems.
