After various teams conducted a survey and demarcated areas as a danger zone in Joshimath, the demolition drive of buildings started on Tuesday under the supervision of CBRI Roorkee team in the region. As the demolition drive started, locals held a protest against the National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC).
